The Republican Party of Shawano County (”RPSC”) is a very active group of people and is recognized throughout the State as one of the best county organizations.  Leadership of the party is entrusted to four officers, the Executive Committee, and the County Committee.  Leadership meets every month to transact party business. The RPSC has a large booth at the Shawano County Fair. The party also holds the Lincoln Day Caucus, the Fall Fundraiser, and a summer picnic. RPSC participates in parades around the county.  The Republican Party of Shawano County also has two auxiliary clubs - The Lake Country Republican Women and the Shawano County Young Republicans for teenage minors

WE BELIEVE:

• That the strength of the Nation lies with the individual, and that each person’s dignity, freedom, ability, and responsibility must be honored.
• That free enterprise and encouraging individual initiative have brought this Nation opportunity, economic growth, and prosperity.
• That government must practice fiscal responsibility and allow individuals to keep more money they earn.
• That the proper role of government is to provide for the people only those critical functions that cannot be performed by individuals or private organizations and that the best government is that which governs the least.
• That the most effective, responsible, and responsive government is government closest to the people.
• That Americans must retain the principals that has made us strong while developing new and innovative ideas to meet the challenges of changing times.
• That America should preserve our national values, strength, and pride while working to extend peace, freedom, and human rights throughout the world.
• In equal rights, equal justice, and equal opportunity for all, regardless of race, creed, sex, age, or disability.
• Finally, We believe that the Republican Party is the best vehicle for translating these ideals into positive and successful principals of government, and that these concepts are the foundation of our national strength and that the Republican Party, which is committed to their preservation, is the Party of today and is The Party for the 21st Century.
